I enjoyed my stay here as it offered a conveniently peaceful spot near a lovely marina for great walks and was just a short drive from attractions like Tattershall Lakes Country Park, which is perfect for leisurely strolls in nature and experiencing local landmarks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ideal for a night after a day of exploring, but some may find the steps to the rooms a bit challenging.

Steep and circular steps to rooms need to be addressed for those who struggle with mobility!!! Poor water pressure in showers makes for a less enjoyable experience!!! The decor feels overly cluttered and dated, a refresh is needed!!!

We had a lovely stay, especially enjoying horse riding nearby. The kids loved the experience, and it was great to be able to bring our pets along to join the fun. The room was small but clean, with comfy beds.

In my wife’s opinion, the check-in process was a bit off. It would be great if they had earlier check-in times for families with children.

The family room was spacious, accommodating both a double bed and three singles, allowing everyone their own space. Impeccably clean throughout, the establishment offered hearty meals, especially the mixed grill, which was a standout. The proprietors were welcoming and friendly, even with our energetic children. Parking was ample, perfect for our adventurous family outings in Lincolnshire.

The breakfast was superb, a really big choice, no problems about having a bit of this or that. And the room? Clean and comfortable, I slept like a baby in that bed. I’m tellin you, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever crashed on, I don’t usually sleep well in hotels but here it was a game changer.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but considering the overall experience, it was still acceptable.

Rooms felt a bit tired. linens showed signs of wear, and some surfaces collected a fair amount of dust. Showers posed a challenge with a small head and weak pressure, making it tough to rinse out thick hair. The decor lacked cohesion, featuring mismatched furniture and a cluttered ambiance that didn’t create the inviting atmosphere expected for the stay.

the crown was such a cozy place to stay! the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. our double room with ensuite was really nice, spotlessly clean, and had plenty of storage. it was lovely to have an evening drink in the bar, which had an amazing atmosphere. breakfast had plenty of choices and was delicious!

totally recommend
